Scarlett Johansson’s D&G Fall 2010 Makeup Ad Campaign
So, I know I may be a little late on this D&G Fall 2010 Makeup Ad Campaign with Scarlett Johnson,..sorry sue me :) but all I can say is HAUTE!!! I love it!!
This fall is all about a dark lip( yes again) but more on the 'plum" side and more satin unlike last fall when it was all about matte lips. If you didn't notice she also has a smokey eye to top off that lip, so ladies if you like the dark lip and eye..this FALL season is all for you!!
Wondering what color she's wearing?
Well I know what color I'm wearing for the fall, what about you?! !

Julissa Bermudez for The Source Magazine
Julissa Bermudez for The Source Magazine
I had the recent chance to work with the beautiful Julissa Bermudez (also know as Julissa B formerly of BET now VJ for MTV Jersey Shore After Hours) for the " Dime Piece" spread.
I had the recent chance to work with the beautiful Julissa Bermudez (also know as Julissa B formerly of BET now VJ for MTV Jersey Shore After Hours) for the " Dime Piece" spread.
Julissa has AMAZING skin so I used a mineral foundation on her, and NARS matte bronzer on the cheeks. I wanted to do a smokey eye on her, but I didn't want it to be too heavy so I only smoked underneath the eye.
For a quick way to achieve this look: Use a black eyeliner on top smug it into the lash line (this creates a fuller lash effect) also do this under the eye. Follow behind with a black or dark blue eyeshadow using a brush or a Q-Tip ( remember the dark eyeshadow is ONLY for under the eye!). I used half lashes on the corner of the eyes, for the "BEDROOM EYE" effect 3 coats of Dior and L"Oreal mascara and Revlon's Nude lip gloss.
I also did makeup for the 6 piece fashion spread "Poker Face", that we shot at a Casino. Be sure to check it out on stand March 2010. Look out for the GLITTER red lip!

I Can Make You Blush Baby
I Can Make You Blush Baby: How To Use Blush
Let me guess, you hate blush, right? Never like to use it? You probably think it makes you look like a clown or maybe you're too dark or too light to wear it? Well maybe the problem is you don't know how to apply it!!!
First off, NO ONE is too dark or too light to wear blush!!!
Second, you're right, you can wear too much or wear the wrong color for your complexion.
Blush is used to bring color to the face after you apply foundation. Yes, you can use blush if you don't use foundation but, be sure to moisturize the skin first. Start applying blush from the back part of your cheek (by the top part of your ear) and brush it forward. Try to keep it between your ear and the irises of your eyes...Don't go pass this!!! Here are some of my favorite colors:

Fair-Olive tone: I would use a bronzer (matte meaning, NO SHINE) first to bring color back to the face. Use colors like peach or light pink. It's plain and goes with any eye color and eyeshadow.

Fall Makeup Trends 09
Fall Makeup Trends 2009
What to wear, how to wear it...blah blah blah...trends, trends, trends. When you hear it, you think of clothes, bags, and accessories right? But, most people don't know MAKEUP has trends as well. The first thing people see when they "see" you is your face...so why wouldn't you want to stay trendy with that?
So, I'm about to break down the Fall 2009 Makeup Trend from NYC Fashion runways to your favorite celebs and even the front pages of Vogue.
Foundation:
When it comes to foundation makeup for 2009, the entire year is all about sheer color that allows natural skin to shine through. The result is a natural glowing appearance without a lot of time spent in front of the mirror. I suggest oil-free formulas that perfect the skin but still look soft and natural. Or, you can use a tinted moisturizer.
Blush:
This year heavy blush, contoured cheeks, or, in other words, the chiseled look is back. While it won't be dramatic, it will be just enough to make those smoky eyes the center of attention.
Eyes (Metallic, Smokey Eye, Cat-Eye):
When it comes to eye makeup trends for fall 2009, it's all about rich earth tones that appear to have come right from the forest. Purple, smoldering smokey black eyes, deep moss greens, luxurious golds, smoky browns, and grays are top colors for fall in makeup. Look for the dark colors (such as blue eye shadow) to be matte and velvety in texture with a touch of shimmer coming from those golds in the corner of the eye.

The cat-eye makeup, that was popular in the fall of 2008, is going to be modified for 2009. Instead of following the retro-inspired swoop up of the days gone by, the cat-eye for 2009 is about making a horizontal line without the upswing at the tail.
Lips:
2009 is all about the LIPS baby!! Wanting to keep the sexy going with the popular 2008 red lip trend, this sexy lip is all about boldness with colors like Deep Purple, Red, and for my DIVA ladies Fuchsia Lips.
